Bondi Beach would be the most well-known beach in Australia, and while I was very excited to finally see it for myself, I was a little sceptical of all the fuss. It didn’t take me very long to fall in love, with the incredible beach, relaxed vibe, the iceberg pool and the painted sea wall it’s hard not too.
When I get busy, I tend to not appreciate all the beauty in the world around me. I get so caught up in all my small issues that I don’t take in everything nature has to offer and the miracles that are right in front of me. I was lucky enough to be in Bondi for the super moon, so mum and I packed a bag of blankets and made our way to the grass area overlooking Bondi Beach. As simple as it was sitting there looking at the moon it was one of my favourite parts of the trip. To take a moment to truly appreciate the magic that I so often overlook.
My favourite part of Bondi would be the coastal walk to Coogee. The views along there just don’t seem real and made me want to pinch myself to remind myself I live in a world where places this pretty exist. The walk isn’t even as hard as I had imagined it to be. Maybe because I was so distracted by how beautiful everything around me was, or maybe because I had someone with me to chat to along the way it is something that shouldn’t be missed and is well worth a trip to Bondi for.
My thoughts on this trip are that the beaches are good for your soul. I have never left a place already so ready to be back. I truly fell in love with this little area, and I cannot wait for the next time I get to visit. xo
